Basis was established in 1981. We started by providing custom programming. Hundreds of companies from the very largest like Exxon and The Chase Bank to small local stores became customers. We developed some of our customer's programs into our products. We then focused on our products exclusively. We pride ourselves on Customer satisfaction. That is why even our first customers are still with us. We now specialize in one product: 4Renters - software for Party Rental Businesses.

With the advent of the internet and increasing internet speed, the kind of support that has kept our customers happy for so many years became available in the late 90s. Having thoroughly tested our ability to support customers properly by phone and the internet, we have customers all across the USA.

Basis has developed its products for Windows^®. Our products run in all current versions of Windows^®.
